Why it matters
The claim is only as good as your list.
Insurers pay for what you can show you owned. Memory under stress is a poor list, and receipts burn with everything else.
"What brand was the TV? How big?"
The scan reads the labels in your video, so model and serial numbers land in the record without you typing a thing.
"What was in the garage?"
Mowers, tools, freezers and kayaks add up fast and are the first things people forget. Film the garage like any other room.
"Do you have proof you owned it?"
Every item is saved with the video frame that shows it.
How it works
Film the room once. The app lists what's in it.
Get the app
Roomprint for iPhone. Free to download, and your first room scan is included.
Scan a room
Tap Scan room and film a slow walkthrough — 30 seconds to 3 minutes. Pause a second on the label of anything expensive.
Approve the list
The app comes back with every item it found: name, brand, model, serial where visible, and an estimated replacement value. Swipe off mistakes, tap to fix a value, then approve.
Export and keep
One tap makes a clean PDF of your whole home, the way an adjuster wants to see it. Keep a copy somewhere safe and share it with your agent.

Questions
What people ask before they start.
How long does a room take?
Film for 30 seconds to 3 minutes, then the app works for a minute or two while you watch. Most homes are done, garage included, inside an hour.
How accurate is the list?
It finds the things an insurer cares about — furniture, electronics, appliances, tools, gear — and estimates what each costs new today. You review everything before it's saved: swipe off mistakes, tap to fix a value. Items the scan wasn't sure about are flagged for you.
Who sees my stuff?
Your records stay on your iPhone, in your own backup, and you can lock the app with Face ID. Room scans send only the video frames to our scan service for identification; they're processed and not stored. We don't sell or share anything.
Is this an appraisal?
No. Values are estimates of what similar new items cost today. For jewelry, art and collectibles we recommend a written appraisal, and the record gives you the list to take with you.
Will this lower my insurance price?
No. Roomprint isn't an insurance product and doesn't give coverage advice. It helps you get paid fully and faster if you ever have a claim, and it gives you a real total to take to your insurance agent when you review your policy.
Do I need to clean or organize first?
No. Just put away anything private, like bank papers, ID cards or safe combinations. Film your home as it is.
What if I buy new things?
Snap them as you unbox, or re-scan the room — the record is yours to keep current.
Is it on Android?
iPhone first. If you want it on Android, email us and tell us — the count decides what gets built next.
